Katies Kids teaches in a variety of settings including country clubs, assisted living homes, recreational centers, studios and private sessions.

Classes Offered

Restorative Yoga - Restorative yoga is a relaxing style intended to be healing and nurturing for the body and it can relieve stress. This class is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Props are used to support the entire body in postures, while gently aiding the body in relaxation. This class is appropriate for all students. 

Vinyasa - This class is a dynamic sequence of postures which all connect to each other using your breath. We begin slow and build on the sequence depending on your individual level. As you find the low of your poses, you being to find the flow from tangible aspects of your being, to the intangible. Balancing us from the gross aspects, all the way to the subtle vibrations on a cellular level. this creates a marriage of our movement and our breathe, creating balance in our bodies, our minds and spirits. 

Meditation Classes - Meditation classes all hold a space for individuals to explore their inner world while sitting in a supportive community. Together we will sit and find guidance from the help of a teacher, but as your journey progresses, you will find a greater sensitivity to self and that individual inner voice begins to speak. Meditation brings connection within you and unity in your outer world. Guided classes can include meditation, guided imagery, visualizations, yoga nidra, breath work and body scans!


Chair Yoga- Chair Yoga, a gentle form of yoga that's done while seated or using a chair for balance, makes the practice more accessible. In chair yoga, it's possible to move into poses.Chair yoga is  a practices that modify yoga poses so they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who might not be able to stand, or have the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine poses.
